Love this Summer! I believe the release of perfectionism actually allows for faster movement (truly that "fast fail" mentality that the most innovative startups in the world live by), and a more joyous journey :). So while in theory releasing this seems like accepting less from yourself, you're making the space for more because of less introspection -- in turn leading to a much more impactful and enjoyable life. Perfectionism for me has led to missed opportunities and less flow, "busy & perfect" isn't nearly as effective as the work smarter not harder mentality. The most powerful executors I study know how to turn on and off perfectionism based on being able to zoom out and see what level of it is needed. Our greatest strengths are always our greatest weaknesses, and my goal is to have my perfectionism work FOR me not against me. Which just requires knowing when to flip the switch on and when to roll with the punches.
